Heart Forward February at KYC

Love Letters to Teachers
Throughout February, you’ll find space in the studio to write a love letter or note of gratitude to our teachers. Whether it’s a few words or a longer reflection, your notes mean more than you know. At the end of the month, one teacher will be randomly selected to receive a free massage as a thank-you for the care, energy, and heart they bring to this community.

Random Acts of Yoga Love
Keep an eye out—our teachers will be quietly gifting free classes throughout the month. No announcements—just small, sweet surprises to thank you for practicing with us.

Leave a Review, Share the Love
If you’ve been meaning to leave us a Google or Facebook review, February is the perfect time. Reviews help small studios like ours grow and reach new students. As a thank you, anyone who leaves a review this month will receive a Kanab Yoga Collective aluminum water bottle and be entered into a raffle for 3 FREE CLASS PASS. We will be keeping an eye out for reviews, but feel free to send us a message if you share your love of the studio online.

5 Week Yoga Series:

Exploring Depth with Christine

This 5-week class series will help you explore yoga postures within different themes each week with a curated flow to help you safely warm-up and find new limits in your practice. You can tailor the practice to your needs with multiple options provided for each posture. We will work through the following themes of postures: forward folds, backbends, side bends, twists, and balance. Hope to see you on your mat.

Christine’s teaching style blends her clinical knowledge and experience with helping students develop a curiosity for exploring movement abilities and cultivating presence on their mat. She is a yoga instructor with a PhD in Kinesiology and over 12 years of clinical experience as a licensed athletic trainer serving sports and performing arts populations in injury prevention and care. Christine has a passion for teaching others about and how to take care of their body’s ability to move.

You join us for all 5 classes or take the classes individually.

Amy

Power Flow

Amy is a certified yoga instructor and wellness coach passionate about helping others find natural, personalized paths to healing. Her work began with caring for her own family and has since supported hundreds of clients seeking relief and balance.
She loves empowering students to understand their bodies and use yoga as a versatile tool for healing and well-being. A lifelong teacher, Amy also shares her love of music and theater—and when she’s not on the mat, she enjoys hiking, lifting, gardening, painting, and performing on stage.
Bobbi

Mindful Flow

As a 200-hour certified yoga teacher and registered nurse, Bobbi is passionate about the wellness of the mind and body.  Off the mat, you can find her outside hiking, running, and climbing, or drinking tea and reading a good book.
Davalynn

Sunday Flow

With almost 10 years of dedicated practice, Davalynn discovered yoga during a particularly challenging chapter of her life—and it has since become a path of growth, balance, and transformation. When she’s not on the mat, you’ll find her traveling or enjoying the company of her five dogs.

Jess

Foundations of Yoga

Jess first began to practice yoga in 2008 during a health crisis when a friend described yoga to her as "rolling around on the ground for exercise" and that seemed accessible at the time. Through her practice, Jess found healing in mind, body, and spirit and came to embrace the practice of yoga as an indispensable extension of herself. Her teachers in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Houston, Texas shared yoga as something that should feel good and be accessible for all, and Jess' practice combines mindfulness with play and ease. While Jess has built strength and flexibility in her body through yoga postures, the real benefit to her has been the emotional resilience cultivated through the union of physical poses with meditation and other devotional practices. Jess hopes to share her profound respect for yoga as a way of living better with her students and to support them to approach life's challenges as a peaceful warrior.
